The beautifully historic Keukenhof Estate with Keukenhof Castle awaits its visitors at a special location in the Bollenstreek. It is hidden between the woods and the flower fields, in the middle of the hectic of the Randstad and yet so serene and rustic in atmosphere and dates from 1641. The estate is freely accessible all year round and covers an area of 238 hectares with 15 national monuments. Keukenhof Castle has a museum function. In addition, it is an attractive wedding location. There is a petting zoo, a restaurant and it offers many possibilities for events.

Keukenhof Castle dates from 1641 and over the centuries the original country house was transformed into a castle. Towers were added to give it the romantic look it has today. The castle has remained in the hands of the same family for the last two centuries, which is clearly visible inside. The beautiful interior shows how the nobility used to live!

With its rich history, the fully restored Keukenhof Castle offers space for various activities. In addition to the stately Coach House, the walled garden around Frederik’s Hof, the Bakhuisje with the churning mill and the historic Hofboerderij, Kasteel Keukenhof makes the estate complete and special.
