C.S. Weijers Bloembollen is an internationally operating company specialised in supplying unusual bulbs and tubers. The company originally started cultivating and breeding dahlias in 1926. Today, dahlias still form a significant part of the assortment, which now has thousands of different varieties. As well as growing flower bulbs in the Netherlands, Weijers also has bulb and tuber plants from around the world. This produces an assortment for a wide variety of applications. For example, delivering to exporters, horticulturalists, landscapers and professional forcing companies for cut flower and pot culturing.
Every two years, Weijers’ regular customers receive an extensive catalogue with the valid market prices, illustrative photo material and the correct naming according to the applicable nomenclature. Weijers is rightly considered the specialist and by many as the top supplier of a broad range of unusual bulbs and tubers.
The company is established in Hillegom and has 14,000 m2 of commercial space, equipped with climate computer-controlled storage facilities. Treatments for programmed flowering or long-term storage are conducted “internally”.  “Delivery on demand” of an order is entirely possible.  An efficient logistically controlled system ensures the correct delivery of the products ordered.
